It says "...Verse 15 really popped for me today. It says "The people were waiting expectantly and were all wondering in their hearts if John might possibly be the Messiah." Granted, John was not the Messiah. But I love the idea of waiting expectantly. The crowds were listening to John, hanging on his words, wanting to know what to do next. And they were expecting something to happen! It is that Holy Expectancy that I would love to have more often, knowing that God is going to move.
