- The Call of Abram (vs. 7).
- The Exodus (vs. 9 and 10).
- The Parting of the Red Sea (vs. 11).
- The Provision in the Wilderness
- The Conquest of Canaan (vs. 24).
- Rebelliousness of the People
- Exile (vs. 30).
The point to Ezra's speech is to review the history of Israel and recognize that their troubles have come from when they refused to submit to God and follow the covenant. It provides a great lead-in to chapter 10 when the covenant is renewed.
