I will always think of Melvin "Bummie" Snode whenever I read this chapter of the Bible. Bummie was a faithful member of Science Hill Community Church until his death in 2013. One of his favorite words, as a greeting and a farewell, was "Hallelujah!"
There are four Hallelujahs in Revelation 19. Three times they come from a great multitude. One time they come from the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders. It seems to come as a word of praise, considering all that the Lord has done amid the fulfillment of His justice and plan.
After this scene of heavenly worship, chapter 19 discloses the fate of the beast and the false prophet: they will be cast into a lake of fire. The King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, riding on the white horse, is victorious at last!
