The sixteenth psalm is a song of true peace. David releases his heart to pour out his feelings of security and steadfastness in the Lord.
Is it any wonder that this psalm is referred to in the New Testament as providing a prophetic underpinning of the resurrection of Christ? (Acts 2:25-28) In God, we can have full confidence that our hope and our faith will be met.
Let us say, along with David, that we will not be shaken! (vs. 8)
