Colossians 3: Get Dressed!

Every Christian needs a change of clothes.  In Colossians 3, Paul writes of the "old self" being stripped off for the new wardrobe of righteousness that awaits.

Specifically, Paul tells us to "put to death" and "get rid of" earthly practices.  Here is WHAT NOT TO WEAR:

• fornication
• impurity
• passion
• evil desires
• greed (AKA idolatry)
• anger
• wrath 
• malice
• slander
• abusive language
• deceit

Fortunately, there is a whole new set of clothes that the Christian can wear:

• compassion
• kindness
• humility
• meekness
• patience
• forbearance
• forgiveness
• LOVE (above all)

This is how you can be one of God's "best-dressed!"
