Psalm 133: The Beauty Of Unity

Poetic forms like we find in the Psalms often use the literary device of imagery to convey the language of meaning.
For instance, Psalm 133 incorporates the idea of the anointing of Aaron, with the precious oil on his head and running down upon his beard and over the collar of his robes, to conjure up the positive feelings we should have about the tribes of Israel living together in oneness.  Another image to this effect is borrowed from a dewy Mount Zion.  Together, these powerful word-pictures allow the reader or listener to appreciate the depth of the beauty of national unity.
