Blessings come in all shapes and sizes. Those who pursue God ("fear God and walk in his ways" according to verse 1) will find their life enriched in a variety of ways.
Psalm 128 suggests fruitfulness and long life will be the share of those who fear the Lord. This blessedness may look different in different people's live, but those who follow God may expect to experience joy and satisfaction from that relationship.
I have met many people who lived their lives as a Christian; not one of them regretted their choice to live righteously, even when it resulted in a cost of personal sacrifice. Alternatively, I have encountered people whose spiritual lives resemble that of a shipwreck. Amid their questions of why they suffer is often a recognition of taking wrong turns in life - steps leading away from God.
There is a sweetness that comes from a life lived for God that the world will never understand, but I hope you will.
